Today, 16 April 2010, Ascom announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Planning Products Business to Mentum, a market leader in Network Planning & Design. This business includes the TEMS CellPlanner and TEMS LinkPlanner product lines.

The transaction is expected to close towards the end of the second quarter 2010 and is subject to customary closing conditions.

Yeah, I guess that Ascom realized that TEMS Cell Planner is a "dead end" tool and sold it off for a profit to Mentum :D

I'm interested what they'll do with TCP, probably shut the project down, take all the good stuff from TCP and add it to their own tools.

My guess it's not for the product but for the ' old ' Cellplanner costumers. TCP has not special to offer but if all their users are switching to Mentum then their community has grown.
Maybe special offers are made :D
