What is G10 actually ?

G stands for GERAN. E******* has changed its naming convention for both 2G and 3G softwares. G10A means, software which will be released at 2010.Q1

There will be two releases every year, A & B

Similarly all WCDMA releases will be W and all LTE releases will be L

So G10A, W10A, L10A etc..

In the past E******* GERAN releases were R and WCDMA were P.
