Angelpy,
You can use as MapInfo Vertical mapper as an alternative for GTP if you haven't got any crack yet, in order to create a DTM. Just a tip.... ;) For those people who has PlanetEV crack, vertical mapper is already enabled. hehehe... Just search on help how to transform a regular table files into GRD and GRC format. ukie? Maybe Nova/DCA can crack this GTP if they have plenty of vacant sked. ;););) I personally have an interest on the power of this tool for Digital Mapping, so thanks alot angelpy for bringing links...

As you probably know the import from Vertical mapper is pretty limited and can be extended with GTP. But at this moment, you can better have a look at FME. This program has much more import/export options which pretty much puts GTP out of business.

Hi DCA, I was informed by a third party vendor 1Q of 2007 regarding this FME, I have this tool last year before sudden crash on my hdd and notebook. I have version of 2006, but since I wasn't able to transform any maps, I stopped using and following its releases. Do you have the latest version of FME? I believe 2008 was released already, but 2007 will do. For those people wanted to try FME, 2006 is available on:

www [dot] torrentscan [dot] com

Just search on isohunt link.

Hi DCA,

Thanks alot for bringing up FME tool again. I totally forgot about this tool, it never entered my mind at all. I think FME translator can support TCPU maps as well. What do you think? I am seeking for the tool a couple of weeks ago that transform .grd and .grc or even .tab to its manner and failed to get one.

P.S: Tutorials and start-up training material of FME are free, just visit their page.

Dear ALL ////
Good discussion about convertor. What I know is like yours. ////
What I know on conversion formats and if you need for PlanetEV too in these years is as below: ////
Safe FME 2007 ////
Global Mapper 8 ////
Vertical Mapper 3 ////
These tools are much useful on conversion. I haven't seen and used "GTP PlanetEV" yet, but good for checking. ////
With excuse too all, I have a big problem in internet connection that can't download/upload huge files. If you really need the version I brought above, let me know, I can guide you how and from which place you can download them with crack ;-) ////
Yours ////

Dears

This tool is good for conversion SRTM files into Planet Format.
Also others tools for MapInfo Vertical Mapper and ArcGis exist.
See this links

I have made a ***** for GTP for Vertical Mapper. As you probably know the import from Vertical mapper is pretty limited and can be extended with GTP. But at this moment, you can better have a look at FME. This program has much more import/export options which pretty much puts GTP out of business.

Do you have FME medicine?Thanks
