if you run the ranopt-administrator tool you can update your database to the latest version. However when I try to add a network or equipment it gives the message:

Specify the service logon details first, before configuring equipment


Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hi lejun,

Both network as equipment are giving the same error message and I can't find a way to change it. But without setting network and equipment you can't use ranopt inside AE :(

What is your Enterprise version?

I met this problem when i use which version 6, i think it is because of lisence problem. Which v6, i must use both Nempez file and the .reg file from David. Then i can configure network technology, and use RANOPT as nomal.

Which your v6.1 lisence, i do not use RANOPT, so i do not know.

Did you use oracle 10 or 9 with AE 5.x?

I have never use A.E 5.x before :D

Now i use A.E 6.2 (official lisence), have Asset only, so i can not test with

you.

But with 6.0 i can analyzer logfile by RANOPT :)

for ranopt administration, the service interface for parsing data is needed. when installing sucessful service interface pack, the problem is mostly solved

i find service interface finaly.
i install it,but it have limitation of importing 15 logfiles.
what about registration of RANOPT Interface Pack?

hi guys,

i've been following the instructions on "how to" create the RANOPT database according to doc found in this forum, but every time i fail...

after creating LISTENER, database ENT62 for Enterprise, installing Enterprise, creating tables structure trough "Administrator".
When trying to create the RANOPT to work also, after creating the database RANOPT, just when other tables structure is about to be created, the following error appears:
