Global Mapper to Asset Format

Hi Friends,

Wanted to know if there is any utility that can convert Global mapper map files to asset format. We have asset tool but we dont have asset format maps but what we have is global mapper maps.

Is there any way by which we can convert Global mapper maps to ASSET format and ASSET can understand it.

as you asked, u have to do following instruction step by step:
1- based on your Coordinate system(which your zone is based on), load the map in the global mapper
2- locate more than 4 points in the map based on real GPS Data.
3- after locating these points, click the bottom 'apply', then 'ok'
4- afterwards, export your map in the 'GeoTiff' format from the File-Export Menu.
5- now, this map contains the GPS Information Data.
for loading in the Asset,
1- you have to make a index.txt file like following format:
MAP_NAME.tif East_min East_max North_min North_max Resolution
2- in the Info, browes adrees of the index file (in the Backdrop Directory).
