Hi
Those collegue working on 4G
Rob Joyce, from O2 Radio Evolution, and David Fowler, chief technology officer of Huawei, have given a demonstration of what UK users can expect from 4G networks.
The demo shows live high-definition video streaming of a film at 8Mbps. "You can play these anywhere you can get 4G coverage on a cellular network today," Joyce said.

4G, 8Mbps???? what? you can get this with 3G and HSDPA.
I see an operator advertising 4G over here, but their service is worse than 3G HSPA. They use WiMax for 4G.

I don't see any difference between 3G and 4G in the peak throughput if both use the same spectrum allocation, modulation techniques and MIMO. To me, 4G looks like a pure sales trick to sell more stuff which is not really needed. IMO, if an operator has a 3G network up and running, they are better of investing money into 3G, instead of 4G, after all, who here has a 4G phone? :D
good news.:)
huawei is great.
