i have simple question about why UE cant connect to 2 PS connection at same time..?? is it because ue only have 1 modem available for this..??

could u pls gimme technical explanation about this..??

What exactly do you mean? Connect to different APNs, but still using it as a modem?

The network must have multiRAB configured, i.e. RAB that can have 2 parallel PS connections. Check your NW vendor documentation.

How is that possible ?

Because if that occurs then cell would suffer from severe DL and UL interference

As connection from Node B to MS will become non-orthogonal

If some can provide me better explanation could be really helpfull irrespective of vendors....

THe only possibility that i have ever seen :
1. Multi Call/Multi RAB : 1 CS Call + 1 PS Call = Possible on 3G
2. Upload and download simultaneously = possible on 3G
3. 1 UE with 2 different APN = possible

but but 1 UE PS Call with 2 different DCHs, i never saw it before on the 3G Test Case

Hello, I am not sure if this helps or not but here you are:
Sometimes ago I have executed multiple PDP context activation test on 3G Net. Used Qualcomm 7200 (p3), different profiles have been set, and then activated Background call first and then Streaming. In this way I had more than one PDP activated at the same time with different QoS.

We did a multiRAB PS test by having one connection over USB and another over bluetooth on a phone. Basically, you need to use two modems from the phone if it supports it.
