Hi all
I want to download Google earth map(Satellite Map) to Geo tiff file to add to pathloss. Who can do it, please help me?

1 Use Google Earth Pro
2 Download the map of your interest
3 save in jpeg format
4 use global mapper
5 open jpeg salved
6 manually rectify the immage using the references of the image in Google Earth Pro
7 use Export raster and elevation data menu of Global Mapper
8 Choose Export GeoTiFF
9 The map is ready to use

Hi, in that way to export a image in google earth and import in gobal mapper, what happen with the elevations due to the image doesnt have elevation information???

Google earth map doesn't have elevation data.
For this purpose you have to use SRTM.
