i got solution also for this.
i think u may used lsdecode from Sentinel RMS SDK 8.0..but there is no info about vendorID
which tool can extract vendor ID from encrypted license string?slmdec103.exe is not working.

I believe somehow VID can be extracted by debugging the software itself

The problem is even though you have the VID, still useless without SDK 8.1 or 8.2 to generate license ( SDK 8.0.6 wont work) :(((

as calvin posted before the license meter error which means wlscgen is not working

but take a look here below, its working and here is the output of the sentinel monitor, I guess the problem that this wlscgen doesnt have hardcoded same VID, or maybe something i dont understand

I installed and modify the parameters for SLM RMS 8.0.6, but not work!
Theses are the procedures, step by step:
1. Installing SLM 8.0.6, running Setup.exe
2. Name: xxx, Company: xxx, Serial Number: 3523800205
3. Installed complete without error!
4. Run WLSCGEN.EXE, error msg appears: Unsoported license meter key attached!..."
5. Press Enter, Login Administrator, pass: empty, but not enabled User and settings.

I don't understand this error msg!
Please suggestions.

for VID 0FE8, it should be written in the hex editor as E80F

Now after much work, is running the Wlscgen.exe
I installed TEMS Emulator. (Fulll Dongle Emulator DSF with TORO_SOUZ_RMSV8_EMULATOR.dll.
Now when I'm generating the code for a license, appears another error msg.
What do you think could cause this error?

1- if you want to get serial for SLM 8.0.6 installation, search for Slmvidsn in the forum , after downloading it run the exe file, put your required VID in the window
it will gave you 2 serial, use the 2nd one (this is SDK Developers serial) in the SLM installation

2- Now the problem means that you didnt install the emu correctly, you need to:
a- install sentinel service (by going to service folder in SSP) and running install.bat
b- go to dll folder and copy the 2 dlls into system32 folder
c- go to samplereg file folder and copy .toro file into system32 folder
d- edit .toro file using a hexeditor or ultraedit to your required VID
details on how to edit is here in this topic ;)
e- run wlscgen 8.0.6, it will work ;)

I'm not sure I got your question correctly, but I believe you are asking how to get the VID for your software.

Easiest way that someone tell you about it :)
Or second to have a license either working or expired for your target software, decode it using slmdec or lsdecode and you will know the VID

hardest way to debug your software and search for this VID

BTW VID in the picture you posted is 0A70, it is written into the emu like the way you posted it 70 0A, so this is the correct way to hardcode a VID into your emu

You are wasting your time trying to get a working Wlscgen for the VID 09FE.
You need the newest Sentinel SDK V8.3 for their newest Software Version 8.4.
For their older Version (V8.3 , their is already a working solution out).

why do you need SDK 7.1 and you already have in this forum SDK 8.0.6 and its reversible which means you can create licenses for 7.1 using the 8.0.6
