TRACING ACTIVATE IN NOKIA OSS

Anyone can explain me how to activate a trace in nokia OSS.

In Nokia RNC? Try to use HIT macro. It can be use for IMSI trace and also for event trace, it means failure counter. Then it is the best way to use EMIL for postprocesing. CARE Guys from Nokia should have those tools.

All the steps required are detailed there, dependant of what version of OSS you are currently using it is best to set traces from Netact using Tace viewer.

it is possible to add trace from RNC using MML but there will be some isues in reading the trace with trace viewer.

NSN care team will not allow you to use Emil, plus you wil need the right sacks to decode messages
