can anyone tell me hwo to find the threshold for starting intra-freq measurement in connected mode for HW ?

the parameter is HoMeasComm.SMeasure. Default value HoMeasComm.SMeasureInd is off.
I don't know the the threshold applied when SMeasureInd is off, probably it always measure.

LTE Intra Frequency Measurement

The UE triggers intra-frequency measurements if the one of the below conditions is fulfilled:


The serving cell fulfils Srxlev < SIntraSearchP or Squal < SIntraSearchQ.
The UE performs intra-frequency measurements regardless of the RX signal level or quality of the serving cell if CELLRESEL.SIntraSearchCfgInd (http://localhost:7890/pages/GED0304A/06/GED0304A/06/resources/EN/LTE_FDD/eNodeB/Para/MML/ratL/para/CellResel-SIntraSearchCfgInd.html) or CELLRESEL.QQualMinCfgInd (http://localhost:7890/pages/GED0304A/06/GED0304A/06/resources/EN/LTE_FDD/eNodeB/Para/MML/ratL/para/CellResel-QQualMinCfgInd.html) is set to NOT_CFG

Points:
o If CELLRESEL.SIntraSearchCfgInd (http://localhost:7890/pages/GED0304A/06/GED0304A/06/resources/EN/LTE_FDD/eNodeB/Para/MML/ratL/para/CellResel-SIntraSearchCfgInd.html) is set to NOT_CFG, SIntraSearch is not broadcast in SIB3; if CELLRESEL.QQualMinCfgInd (http://localhost:7890/pages/GED0304A/06/GED0304A/06/resources/EN/LTE_FDD/eNodeB/Para/MML/ratL/para/CellResel-QQualMinCfgInd.html) is set to NOT_CFG, SIntraSearchP and SIntraSearchQ are not broadcast in SIB3.
o If neither of SIntraSearchP nor SIntraSearchQ is specified, UE applies the default value (SIntraSearchP = Infinity, SIntraSearchQ = 0, based on 3GPP 36.331).
o When both SIntraSearch and SIntraSearchP are broadcast in SIB3, the UE takes the value of SIntraSearchP as that for SIntraSearchP.
SIntraSearch and SIntraSearchP are set by CELLRESEL.SIntraSearch (http://localhost:7890/pages/GED0304A/06/GED0304A/06/resources/EN/LTE_FDD/eNodeB/Para/MML/ratL/para/CellResel-SIntraSearch.html)

Intra-frequency Cell Reselection Criteria
In all cases, the UE shall reselect the new cell, only if the following conditions are met:

· The new cell is better ranked than the serving cell during a time interval TreselectionRAT (The cell reselection time for an intra-frequency neighboring cell is broadcast in the SIB3 and set by the CELLRESEL.TreselEutran (http://localhost:7890/pages/GED0304A/06/GED0304A/06/resources/EN/LTE_FDD/eNodeB/Para/MML/ratL/para/CellResel-TReselEutran.html) parameter. The cell reselection time for an inter-frequency neighboring cell is broadcast in the SIB5 and set by the EUTRANINTERNFREQ.EutranReselTime (http://localhost:7890/pages/GED0304A/06/GED0304A/06/resources/EN/LTE_FDD/eNodeB/Para/MML/ratL/para/EutranInterNFreq-EutranReselTime.html) parameter).
· The UE has camped on the serving cell for more than 1 second.

This procedure is for Cell Reselection in Idle Mode.

In Connected Mode the UE always measures the Intra-Frequency neighbors and based on the "A3 Event" settings it may trigger Intra-Frequency handover procedure.
