Ok, guess even I have to ask sometimes for a favour. :)

I need documenation for Huawei MW radio, OptiX RTN 900 series. Looks like we'll all be working with their equipment sooner or later, so better start early.

Anything you might have would be useful.

Thanks Cepillo. Still, it's a bit confusing as to what's the difference between RTN and PTN platforms. Is there a sepparate datasheet for RTN perhaps? I see in this document that there are certain microwave features explained, but very poorly.

RTN is a hybrid solution. Ethernet over PDH (encapsulation, overhead, etc.).
PTN is IP orientation solution (delay/latency, jitter, MTU, MOS...parameters is good). That is similar to radio-ethernet bridge (backhaul), but FDD and single carrier.
IP MW equipment another vendors don't has IF cable (btw IDU and ODU). It has optical or cat5 outdoor cable.
For example: NSN FlexiPacket MW (was presented in GSMA Mobile World Congress in feb 2009)
