You can do in Gtool for sure, i am not sure about in latest version of MCOM but in earlier version u can not do through MCOM.

But, you can do it through Thematic ;) !

Go to Layer Control. Select MCOMCarrier and click the Display button. Tick Style Override under Display Mode. Click on the button "Aa". You can change the font type there.
