I installed the app on my 6120 but there is no folder called C:resource/apps to copy the .sRC file that is provided.. Anyone else?

Having a further look at the original forum it says...

"to ***** the app is necessary to copy the files .rsc in C>resource>apps.
For enter in C>resource> is necessary to have an ****ed phone..."

So I guess that answers my question.

like y browser or xplore
but i still can't copy with that tools

1st of all you need a ****ed phone (search the forum for S60 3rd edition ****)
2nd you will need a file explorer to see all files. To enter in resourse folder you need to **** your phone 1st. It is written in original forum.

if somene have success in this method - would be very nice for all forum to make some screenshots of working Nemo Handy screens (press * and then just transfer .jpg from handy to PC ... ) as a .rar file,
and publish on forum, to see what is working for voice and packet data testing and what is not working.
Please, add conditions under which SW is working... also ... put name , shortest description and link to tools used to make it P:)

-Download and Install HelloCarbide
-Now open LCG Xplore
-press '0' and make sure the first 4 options are selected
-goto phone memory and try accessing private folder...u cant
-Now goto phone main menu[without exiting xplore] and open HelloCarbide
-press options ->Menu1 -> Yes.......it exits automatically
-now,return to xplore...u can access private and sys folders now

install secman into phone , install certificate and turn off platform security.

i tried this handy and it worked PARTIALLY. no data at all, but a ray of hope.

have anyone tested packet data part of this partially opened tool ?
Try to make FTP download and upload - during that time - monitor data throughput graph ...
and try also to load http and monitor/record data ... tell us result !
On the original info about the working part - is shown only packet data test as working ... so ..
Please, make this test so we know that voice is not yet solved, but packet data part - yes ...

Yes, sadly. Italian guy who *****ed it managed to disable licence registration validty , check but still has lots of work to do apparently.

if you check ABOUT option in NEMO HANDY, you will see that its licence supports only WLAN option, and WLAN option works !! you can test it !

So, trick is to enable other modules in licence and all will work

if you look at the pic posted to source forum I see that some DL throughput is measured on mobile network HSDPA and UMTS .
So, seems that it could measure mobile network , not just WLAN ...
Can you, please, test mobile trasfer ... packet data throughput ... FTP DL and UL and see graphs ? Is it working ?

This is for N80/N75/N95/6120.

Instructions:
1. Install Handy_2.50.67 .sis
2. Copy and overwrite the file Handy.rSC in C>resource>apps (For this you need h**ked phone)

To how to h**k phone, look post before.

You don't need to flash your phone.

so i tested data throughput on my N80.
first i tried with youtube but being memory intensive ,both applications cant run together,NEMO handy shuts down due to less RAM available.
then i tried streaming virtual radio so that it can continuously download data and play it without any interaction while i can see the plots.

the graph is discontinuous as the radio was buffering and then playing, it downloads more and hence data rate is high while buffering, during normal playback its less.

will try to upload few more pics with some data intensive application, or while downloading big files.
(sorry,poor GSM signal)

It works on normal firmware, at least Wlan measurements

And data transfer measurements.

so no need for NTM firmware apparently.

Hi All
It's nice to try this, just be careful, the phone h@cking method can harmful to your valuable toy.... My N95 NTM was went mad with it, and I did decide to reformat it...

So:

1. Back-up first all your important contacts, pictures, data etc. before you h@ck it
2. To do re-formatting: press *#7370# and enter 12345 when asked
3. Phone will re-boot, wait until finish....
