A very popular analist specialized in transport Technologies
pubblished some tendency data (and history data) related to the installations methodologies (and systems type)
on medium term tendency seems that split Mount system will leave room to full outdoor (instead full-indoor are very stable)
the reasons are a lot ...
i try to immagine why full oudoor will be a better choice and in 2019 could be close to 25%(or more) on total new installations :
- FO are cheaper system --> FO are single ODU system
- Market needs less of TDM transport --> FO are tipically Pure IP systems
- Eband it is strong emerging --> 80GHz tically is a FO technologies
- Vband Small cell backhaul emerging --> 60Ghz tically is a FO technologies
