2G Drop Problem - Please help

Dears,

I face some problem in 2G network. when ue in idle mode "signal level between 50 and 60" . and than when ue start call( dedicated mode) after 1 min , signal comes to 90-100 and drop call. I cant understand the problem please help.

You can check the following things:

Verify the power settings of Channel Group 0, normally the non-hopping channels, and the other channels, Channel Group 1, etc., maybe they can be different.
Check the parameters of down regulation of power control, they may have an improper setting.
Check if you have antenna crossings in different channel groups.
You can have an improper definition of channel groups about what antenna is assigned to a specific radio unit.
Maybe you can have a defective radio unit, for example you are camping in the TRX with BCCH in non-hopping group and this is good, but when you start calling then you are moved to hopping channel this is bad.
