Do you have list of Oracle versions compatible for different versions of Netact? (i.e. Netact version 4.1 is for Oracle 8.1, How about higher versions, maybe versions 5, 5.xx, 6 if there is...) I think this is very helpful.

i installed net act 5.2 and oracle data base but i can not log in there is some problem wher i am writting user name system and password which i created in oracle but there is some error bad locale name. and i do not know what tu do.

use Administrator to create Administrator user and password as well as other users and usergroups. With system user you can not login into application. If you need help send me PM.

did you create database based on the aircom template? this later created Administrator user when u log in Administrator application for the first time.

yes i created temlates in oracle database and created admin sys and system usen as guid netact installation document for first login for net act administrator, but when i am opening net act administrator to create project for first login needed ps system and ps which i created in oracle like Planner , but after entering this system user in ODBC test is succssesfuly but in net act administrator giving error. can you help me

one more thing. check if your oracle is up and running. tnsping your oracle instance.
if you get ora- tns ---- error . search google for it . helps a lot.

my problem is that in oracle ODBC dadabase this system user and ps working bat it not allow me to log in on net act administrator with first time to created project. in user guid of net act there is nothing more written about how to enter first time in net act admionistrator. there is just written that for first time to log in on net act administrator for creating project i should use just system user and ps thet i put in oracle when i created Planner database.

with system user you can not login to NetActPlanner .

1. with system user you login Administrator. Nokia - NetActPlanner - Misc - Administrator

If you created a database with a templete then it will create database tablespace and also Administrator user.

2. With Administrator user you can login to NetAct Planner and create Project.

i need help with setting the parameters for synthesize hopping. i have a region where i use hopping. in the site database i would like to set MALID , MAIO step and MAIO offset to a specific value for each cell per site. e.g.

cell1 maio offset=0 maio step=6 maid=12
cell2 maio offset=2 maio step=6 maid=13
cell3 maio offset=4 maio step=6 maid=14

all cells on one site. have a problem since it is not possible to set it via global edit. can i somehow force it via frequency planning ?

Why you need NetAct V.5.2 if you have V.6?

actually, we have a WS with 5.2 version. importing the whole project in the format ".aii" from 5.2 into 6.0 does NOT work, because the difference of internal db... the only way we managed to transfer the project is through xml format. the downside is that flags are not trasfered and propagation models seem corrupted...

so...
if someone has version 5.2, please share here..... i have already posted the links for 4.1 and 6.0.

you need to install oracle search the forum, there is a lot of information how to install
