TEMS compatible cables

I am using MA-8910p cable with tems investigation 6.1.5 and t610. my question is why only this cable is working and not a standard serial cable or dcu-11 is not working. dcu-11 is the original cable and it doesn't work. I saw that ma-8910p is using a prolific pl2303 usb-rs232 converter. what is so special with this one? can some explain me a little the connections between tems investigation and cellphone???

你拆开对比看看就明白了，普通数据线跟TEMS测试数据线连接的针脚不同。

我就是用普通数据线改装后连接TEMS 软件使用的。COM口的和USB口的都能使用，用USB的好处是还能给手机充电，不用担心手机会没有电。

采用PL2303HX的芯片的USB数据线我改成功过，另外一种软封的芯片我改过但是不能使用。改天我发张图片上来。

There are 2 TX and 2 RX pins exist on the T610 phone.
The standar pins are used for data tranfer as you know original tems cable has 2 RS232 connection to computer.
But tems connection used anot her pins for TX and RX. sorry it was very long time before thats why i already forget connector names.
Just follow cables and find connection for tems pins on the phone. you can create your cable easily but you always need RS232 convertor for adapting FBUS to MBUS.
I hope the information could be enough for your finding something. If there are some similiar answer in another languages sorry.

As I know there are two type of Cables for many phones like SE phones in TEMS. 1.Data cable 2. Service cable. Data cables are what you use generally in connecting phones for reading phone book, general files transfer. Service cables are used for such actions like we need in TEMS phones. About T610 search for DCU-11has two types. Th difference is just some wire swap in the cable which you can find via search on WEB or ask us to write for you. //

2. move the cable from pin 4 to 6, and from pin 5 to 7.
