Hi,

In my networkwe achieved good results changing the parameter ULDELAY e DLDELAY to 500ms.
The improved result was 10%.
The explanation below.

Parameters affecting the number of allocated PDCHs include:

■PILTIMER controlling when on-demand and semi-dedicated PDCHs are released.
■DLDELAY and ULDELAY controlling delayed release of Temporary Block Flow (TBF) downlink respectively uplink.
■PDCHPREEMPT and GPRSPRIO controlling priority between CS and PS traffic.

ULDELAY EUL TBF mode time limit
This exchange property specifies the maximum time UL TBF is kept in EUL TBF mode. This value is given in milliseconds.
The availability of the exchange property values other than the default one depends on commercial agreements.
Property type: Optional
Numeral 0-5000
Default value: 1000
This exchange property is owned by the block RGCNT.

DLDELAY Delayed release time limit
This exchange property specifies the maximum time Downlink (DL) Temporary Block Flow (TBF) is kept in delayed release mode. This value is given in milliseconds.
The availability of the exchange property values other than the default one depends on commercial agreements.
Property type: Optional
Numeral 0-5000
Default value: 2200
This exchange property is owned by the block RGCNT.

Here we had a better result with this, also I suggest you to increase TBFDLMILIT and TBFULLIMIT to have more gains. Is necessary also check PCU LOAD, if you have PCU OVERLOAD your ACC GPRS UPLINK can decrease, you can solve giving more PCU capacity but it requires money. Another thing that you can do to have more gains is check if your sites support more TS 64K, configuring more TS 64K you can have gain in ACC GPRS.

Dears,

Do you have any idea about equivalent parameters (for above mentioned ones) in Huawei SRAN
