Rain rate

Hi
can anyone help me finding the rain rate data for a region as per daily basis?
I am working for some link to optimize.I have database for K value but only waiting for Rain rate data.

But I need the Weather station data for actual rain intensity given during a time.
That is hourly rain observations during a actual raining event.
Probably we can get it from the local weather station through internet .
I need to follow the data.but I am getting difficulties to access this type of data..is there any suggestions?
