View Full Version : Current channel element ladder in RBS

Hi all,

I believe in RBS via moshell we can see current in use channel element ladder by command. Does anybody know how to check it(what command) ?

Assume we are activating some capacity related optional features which changes CE ladder in RBS in this case we have to be able to see the used ladder before and after activation to verify feature activation.

Hi Consultant,

May you please share E// reference for the mentioned traces? It seems it does not work.

PS: You may run it in one RBS and attach the print out as well.

Please be careful when using trace on CPP nodes!!

Before trace activation check its status:

Printing usage for all RBSs in a module

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The fields in the "cedh" printout correspond to the following variables in the "hwm print grp" printout on Module MP:
- MOD: RNC Module
- GRP: Cell Group (one or two per IubLink)
- IUBLINK: the MO id of the IubLink
- fro: the froId of the IubLink
- nCell: the number of UtranCells in the Cell Group
- usedCEdl: Dl Consumed Credit / Dl Capacity Credit (the number of used CE out of the total amount of available CE)
- usedCEul: Ul Consumed Credit / Ul Capacity Credit
- gHoCEdl/gHoCEul: Guaranteed, HO (Channel Elements availability for Guaranteed, Handover traffic)
- gOthrCEdl/gOthrCEul: Guaranted, Other (Channel Elements availability for Guaranteed, Other traffic)
- ngHoCEdl/ngHoCEul: NonGuaranteed, HO (Channel Elements availability for Non Guaranteed, Handover traffic)
- ngOthrCEdl/ngOthrCEul: NonGuaranteed, Other (Channel Elements availability for Non Guaranteed, Other traffic)
Note: From P6, the admission policies have been simplified. Now there are only two limits that are used. Guaranteed, handover traffic is allowed up to 100% while other traffic (Guaranteed-other, nonGuaranteed-HO, nonGuaranteed-other) is (conditionally) blocked at the limit dl/ulHwAdm. So in the cedh printout, "OtherCEdl/ul" refers to everything but Guaranteed-HO.
