tems investigation 16.1 released

Today release version 16.1 of TEMS Investigation. With it we supply Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900I, the VoLTE-capable S4 Mini SGH-I257, the indoor-oriented PCTel SeeGull IBflex scanner, and more devices besides these.
Among other new features may mention POLQA and LTE/WCDMA cell lock on further devices as well as additional LTE performance diagnostics.
Come and meet us at LTE World Summit in Amsterdam! TEMS Investigation Product Manager Pär Hultén will be there talking about VoLTE, and he’ll be demoing the 16.1 release with all of its fresh enhancements.

u can install ver 16.0 and go to
C:\Users\HP3\Documents\TEMS Product Files\TEMS Investigation 16.0\Update\TI
and run Update.exe and got installer yourself;)

Will POLQA be done through the ACU R2? I have heard rumor that this will be done through the chip this time. I used the ACU last year. This year I was stuck with ASCOM 7.4. Horrible for being stable. :mad:

I can now answer this. I got my 16.1 today and I have the ACU R2 again to generate wav files for POLQA. You would think this could be done through the chipset. Also, nobody has come up with Video test for VoLTE.

I have recently looked at JDSU and Gawd NICE SIZE. It is very small and super portable. ZKCelltest is still in the making and hopes for something better there.

Still only Ascom aka TEMS is the only RF Equipment that is allowed to have VoLTE technology well in advance. Unfair to keep the price honest as nobody else can figure the logmask needed.

As I have to checking a few day with TEMS inv V16.1, i see that is very good news from ASCOM that release this version for support with Samsung S5 G900F (cat4 for LTE). so we can play and enjoy together. please see on some attach picture

Hey, if you need to measure VoLTE on ANY device then I can recommend Spirent (formerly Metrico Wireless) and their NomadHD tool. It works with any device out there and will measure MOS using POLQA. I've used the Nomad tool in the past so I speak with some experience on it....it always worked well for me.
