We are adding new locaton area and new routing area. We know how to change information about LA on cell level, but cant find any data about specific RA on BSS? How to connect specific cell to specific RA?

In E******* you only need to put specific RAC in cells if you split a lac in two RA, you have that all cells have RAC 0, but how find the system a single data user it is by means of RAI, this entity is MCC-MNC-LAC-RAC, this is the reason why E******* systems have almost in the entire networks RAC=0, I don't know one with this setting different of 0, because if you change LAC you change RAI. In E******* systems you are limited to one RAC per LAC only if you change the RAC to a value different of 0 then you need to put that informaciĆ³n in command RLDEP for external cells, and thas is not necessary. You can find this statement from ALEX LIBRARY in the document User Description, Dual Transfer Mode:

Routing Area

A Routing Area (RA) is a subdivision of a Location Area (LA). An RA can only belong to one LA but it can be equal to the LA. An RA is identified with a Routing Area Identity (RAI) which is only unique when presented together with the Location Area Identity (RAI=MCC+MNC+LAC+RAC). In the E******* BSS, an RA is identical to an LA.

I hope this can help you, best regards, friend,
