I want to install windows vista at my laptop, could you please tell me from your experience?
Which RF tools will work with vista and which will not work properly?

within my experience many programs wont work with windows visa as e******* OMT, Minilink TN Internet explorer based , Minilink Craft

Almost all freq used will work properly. I've tested TEMS 6.1.x ,8.0.x and 9 , Actix , Aircom Ent6 , Mapinfo , GlobalMapper iv 32bit version.
At 64 bit you may have some problems. I know that Sentemul2007 not work in 64bit environment.

I tested windows Vista with TI 9.1 and extrenal USB GPS with no problems!

But in my experince TEMS 8 gives an error while installation;

Vista has very heavy core, better to wait for Windows 7, Microsoft has improved Windows Core spead in Windows 7.
The beta version of W7 is availabe & alpha version will come soon.

Windows Vista needs the correct driver for external equipments that will be connected to TEMS, in addition you must give TEMS program all permissions to access the external devices, it is not an easy task!:confused: but after you setup the required devices , TEMS will work without problems (At least from my side and from my experience).

But in my experince TEMS 8 gives an error while installation;

I've installed windows 7 and it's working properly
i've tested pathloss 4.0, TEMS linkplaner 6.5, mapinfo 9, global mapper 10 and it's working properly
