LKF Load

I tried loading LKF for a certain site but it failed cos time was wrong. when I chked it was utc time. hw do i change to normal time.

(1)Put LKF in your C:\cygwin\home\user folder.

(2)in moshell do ftput filename of LKF (xxxxxxx.xml)

(3) then acc 6 updatelicensekeyfile

(4) fill in the blanks rbs; rbs; siteip; lkf file path (/d/xxxxxxx.xml)

lkf shd be installed

No, what i am saying is when some nodes display the output of read clock some cases u see utc time and in some cases it displays without utc time.
what is the difference. especially when it applies to lkf loading.

Hi, I have 1 power point and 1 word document (for massive nodeB license) on loading license using SMO. I don't have the one using Moshell.
Hopely it would be useful.

hi whenever you give command "readclock" it should be UTC.
You need UTC for troubleshooting (log files) or for ROP file, the reason is to make it easier when you send logs to 2nd support in other country or even PLM, so it's easier for them to have one definition time which is UTC time.

As for your case could you put here what was the error?
Check the license XML, what date should it start, check in this line : <start>2012-01-02</start>

Please check following in your license that you want to load :
1. Your license should have correct Fingerprint
<fingerprint method="1" print="XXXXXX">

2. You should have sequence number of the license above 1010, for example 1020
<sequenceNumber>1010</sequenceNumber>

I suspect the problem is you're trying to load old license, your license that you want to load has start date <start>2012-06-26</start>, the one you currently have in the node right now perhaps the updated one, so when you try to load the old license it will ofcourse fail.

You dont get it. nobody tried to load anything, the alarm just popped up site has been on air for a long time.

Anyway someone must indeed install license recently : Installed, Mon Mar 10 02:47:29 2014
So there must be an activity, not just popped up like that.

I guess i put wrong. A perfectly working site pops up an alarm saying wrong faulty fp in lkf I then try to reload lkf which is resident in the node but alarm still exist.

As per the time i hv found out that node has been synced with ntp server.

I guess my question shd be why wld a perfectly working site suddenly loose license.

Exactly what I am experiencing but in my case clock has now been set to utc time so I cant change it anymore.
