I am working on the Pak-afgan border area which is one of the worst place to work. Security is almost zero at this place. USA considers this place one of the most dangrous in the world.

Dear Friends

according to my experience

Best country to work in could never be one country
also the same case to worst country as benefits and problems vary

According to me
Best country I worked in

Germany comes number one even the expensive life
then comes DUBAI/QATAR/

You can make a lot of money in Thailand / indonesia

as life is cheap also people are kind

but dont forget that nature is not stable as tsounamy happened there

Worst countries

Bangaladesh/sudan/soumal/rounda / Nigeria

Not secured/not healthy

Thanks and best regards

Best and worst are very subjective
I have worked in many developing and developed countries.
I enjoyed working in developing countries based on the quality of work and people I worked with.

Some of you have not even visited countries you are stereo-typing as worse
You just depend on hear-say.

I think no worst or best place to work, it's only your attitute to work is worst or best in the working place. The conflict country, the dangerous area, ... ofcourse, you can never think about them.

Just only my idea. And you ?

if you are looking for experience go and don't wait or ask about the country.
otherwise the best county is where you were born.

There are another priorities rather than experience and money like: Religious and Yourself
In more details: you are responsible about your religious, yourself, and your money

I hope all guys understand me: as I’m just trying to translate a very important Hadith from the prophet Mohamed (Salla Allah Alih we salam)

Yes Nigeria is a fantastic place to work....especially if you work as an expatriate for Alcatel or E*******.

But keep in mind that you would be quarantined un-necessarily.

Fantastic pay

I think the worst I have been is Kingstown in jamaica, is a dangerous country and they are racist with no black people, also expensive.

The best should be any asian country like thailand....is cheap and people is nice

hello Fz123456,

Please kindly tell us what country cos as this thread says...'The best and worst country to work' keeping in mind that africa is a continent.

However, i must add, that irrespective of the meds you supposedly take along, you cant deny the fact that next to Quatar and the likes, some countries in africa is one place where you make good money while being treated as a KING. Although, i havent gone round but i could speak for Nigeria and Ghana.

I'm looking for a change of job.....who's willing to help here.:)

Hi Processor,
Well, I do not know where you have been in Nigeria but definitely not in Lagos otherwise you would not say you were treated like a king. That city was very expensive, I paid more than 10k just for the hotel per month and I could not go anywhere without security after some hundred student protestors attacked and demolished our company car (they thought we were in the oil business and they blamed the goverment for some oil issues).
When I wanted to go to Angola the embassy said I was 'persona non grata' in their country and did not give me any visa (there was no reason, I have never been there before).
So working in Africa is not easy.

it's depend on the country you are going to work in:

no problem in all African countries that speak Arab
and no problem in Cote D'ivoire (Abidjan) based on my personal experience

for other countries, I don't know

Working currently in Mexico City now. Quite expensive but the weather is great. It's cool all day long. Locals are friendly as well.
