Site Code to be used for attached ckinfo+ & script -> ckinfo+ fast.ckinfo -> enter Site Code and get Encrypting Key to enter to Site Key
If something is wrong, delete RMCPROJ.key, RMCPROJ.ent, RMCPROJ.rst and try again. Do not touch to RMCPROJ.LIC

Sorry to hear that brshow, that's the way I run the program and it works great on my computer. I could only advice you to check over the ckinfo+ version you are running. I'm on version 1.14.

Disconnect the Internet again, go to the installation directory and rename the app_config.xml, copy your app_config.xml backup file to the installation directory and you would be running up to the latest database. If you go to the Help-> About… screen the system will show "Last question database update on: 9/21/2012" but you where running version 9/21/2013... Go and study hard...

It worked to the point of exchanging 1348256690 to 1379815257.
When changed, the database was corrupted when I return to the same date, the bank works correctly. but ... must be disconnected from the internet.

This is how it worked to me:

1)You disable internet connection
2)You install version 8.0.0.2
3)You install version 8.0.0.6
4)You run program (internet connection is still disabled)
5)You choose activate and insert the word MANUAL in Serial Number
6)You get a site code and you post it here or you use the ckInfo+ as described in the first post
7)You backup file app_config.xml from installation folder
8)You enable internet connection
9)You update the database and BEFORE the program restarts (LAUNCH button) you disable the internet connection
10)In the destination folder you rename app_config.xml (for example as app_config2.xml)
11)You copy in the destination folder the backed up app_config.xml (step 7)
12)You change the compatibility mode to windows 7 and the program should run as administrator (right click in .exe file and then properties)
13)You run the program and everything is ok (you have to be offline)

For people who have downloaded ckInfo+, you create a txt file and you save it as fast.ckInfo .The script you need in the file is:

Things I didn't manage to do:
1) Change the database update date written in Help->About menu. When I follow the instructions Cancuerno wrote my database corrupts and I have to restore app_config.xml.
When I try it, the date I can see is 9/22/2013 and not 9/21/2013.
2) I cannot firewall PM FASTrack from windows firewall because when the program runs, it creates subprocesses called CKS***.tmp (different every time) which try to update the database.

If anyone finds a solution to these please post. I also don't know what happens with future updates.

Has anyone been able to run the 8006 version with just a firewall like ZoneAlarm without having to disconnect from the internet? I see that the PM_Fasttrack_PMP.exe is accessing the net through the high ports like 49xxx, 56xxx, 59XXX and the ZoneAlarm firewall cannot stop it so its asking for the update no matter what at startup. If you let the program update then it messes up the 'app_config.xml' and it does not generate any questions (error). You then need to restore the original 'app_config.xml' and disconnect from the net to be able to run it again. Please share your fix if you have one.

Okay, I was trying to install v8006 and after *****ing the application I was receiving the error message that "There was a problem generating the exam. Your data files could be corrupted".

I saw that you can overcome that by installing v.8002 first but I couldn't find it online and never managed to download it. but I could find a workaround using v.8006 only.

1- install the PM FASTrack PMP v8006
2- copy the file "app_config.xml" into a safe place
3- ***** the application using ckinfo+ method mentioned in the thread
4- then proceed by updating the questions database
5- now rename the app_config.xml again after the upgrade to something else (for example app_config.xm_) and replace it with the app_config.xml file from before the *****
6- now open the files and replace the "0" in the below line with the number you'll find in the same line but on the xml file after *****ing:
<question_index>0</question_index>
7- also replace "demo" in the below line with the license ID number from the other file
<license_id>Demo</license_id>

Now you have an updated and *****ed file, but u still shouldn't start the application while connected online or it will force you to update your database which will corrupt xml file again.

How ever you can search for update to the questions database every now and then and after the update redo the steps 6 and 7 again

Dear kostsour,

Thanks for the .tmp files note… two files are created in “C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Temp” when you start the application, “ck delete.list” and CKS***.tmp. You can firewall “C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Temp\*.tmp” and/or “C:\Program Files\PM FASTrack PMP v8\PM_FASTrack_PMP”. The effect I looked for is to block the corruption of the app unintentionally and remember me to turn off the Internet to run the application (By the way, you can turn Internet on again a couple of minutes after the application is running).

The database corruption happens because you are updating software that you activate MANUAL because NO connection to the Internet is possible. You can also use the updated or corrupted app_config.xml file, change whatever <last_update>xxxxxxxxx date it has, change to "1348256690", disconnect the Internet access, run the program and it will run, but when you go to the Help-> About… screen the system will show "Last question database update on: 9/21/2012". Also nagibs touch the point of changing the <question_index> and the “license ID number” above…

I will try to replicate and document whatever I do last time... Google for raduga_fb & Crypkey for interesting info.

Dear brhow and people looking to activate the PM FASTrack v8.0.0.6. ES or PT app. This is an alternative way to run your ES or PT questions db under the English language framework. Please read this thread to look for files and instructions to run English v8.0.0.2 then v8.0.0.6. Once up and running English v.6 backup all your *.xml files and install your ES or PT v8.0.0.6. (app will install by default in ¨PM FASTrack PMP v8 ES¨ or ¨ PM FASTrack PMP v8 PT¨). You don’t have to activate it, just copy all ES or PT *.xml files to the English v.6 dir then change the name of database_es.xml or database_pt.xml to database.xml and run the modified ¨English¨ version offline. Now you could backup your *.xml files, uninstall your ES or PT version and switch back and forth from EN to ES or PT.

During Registration Screen -> Activate -> Accept -> License Serial Number -> type "MANUAL" -> Enter
License Serial Number -> enter serial number and in the other field the site key.

*. Use your updated app_config.xml file.
1. Disable Internet connection.
2. Edit app_config.xml with some text editor like notepad.
3. Look for the number string in "</question_index><last_update>xxxxxxxxxx</last_update>".
4. Change the string with "1348256690" and save the file.
5. Make a backup of the new saved app_config.xml
6. Run "Fastrack v8" disconnected from Internet.

Dear brhow and people looking to activate the PM FASTrack in ES or PT.

This is an alternative way to run your ES or PT Fastrack db under the English language Menu.

1st Install and activate English Fastrack v8.

* English V8 install by default in ¨C:\Program Files\PM FASTrack PMP v8"
* Backup English * .xml files.

2nd Install PM Fastrack ES or PT

* ES or PT Fastrack install by default in ¨C:\Program Files\PM FASTrack PMP v8 ES¨ or ¨PM FASTrack PMP v8 PT¨.
* You don’t have to activate your ES or PT Fastrack Installation.

3rd Copy all ES or PT *.xml files to the English v8 dir.

4th Change the name of database_es.xml or database_pt.xml to database.xml.

5th Run "English" PM Fastrack.
