Reasons for low cell throughput in 2G

Can anybody tell me possible reasons in radio, transmission & core causing low 2G cell throughput.

Transmission capacity (Less number of Abis channel and high PDCH utilization)

Core(High GSL utilization,High Gb capacity, SGSM related issue,GGSM related issue)

Radio: Radio quality, Number PDCH, Numer TBF per PDCH, Coding scheme. GPRS/ EDGE enable
transmission: Extra Abis for GPRS/ EDGE

Usually the problems (If there are't problems about HW and Good Air Interface Quality) are :
GPRES/EDGE:
* Check the Territory Capacity (Dedicated, Default TCHs for Data)
* Check the Capacity in CARDs of BSC (PCU in NSN)

EDGE:
* Check the DAP size (NSN network) in ABIS Config
