How can i remove the Code plug password? I know it can be done with Depot, but i don't have Depot or Lab.
I have heard many people removing Code plug passwords for ******** radios by a Hexeditor like Winhex, is that possible on this radio also, i yes how is it done?
Thanks for some help.

I have an MTP850s which has a codeplug password, any help removing the password would be appreciated. I have some goodies to share with whomever decides to share.

Does anyone have the software to unlock the codeplug? Anyone willing to share it with me?

solving this is so easy.

Take a codeplug that opens in your cps.
Save it once without password and again save it with a password.
If you compare both files you'll notice only a few bytes has changed at a certain offset

At this offset you can easily change the first byte to 00 inside the codplug with a password and it will open normally ;-)
