MTH800 Software and code plug

Hi
Can i use every software version on the MTH800 to program it, or does it have to do with which version i have in the radio right now? I think i have something with R07xxxx.

Another question is about the code plug currently in the radio, i have no possibility to check that now, but does the code plug always have password? And if it has a password can i delete that code plug without the password and make a new code plug, or do i need to have the password before i can do anything with the radio?

I would be glad if somebody sorted this out for me, im a first time Tetra owner. Thanks.

It depend of MTH800 hardware. Some hardware can work with all versions of R07 software but some not.
Use Upgrade/downgrade function. TetraCPS will decide software is supported or not by your hardware.

Question about reset/disable codeplug password.
In TetraCPS you need to go: file->change password. Enter current password, fields for "new password" left blank. These steps will disable password protection.
