Can't connect to RBS 6601

Hi All,

I'm facing a problem that after i installed the RBS 6601 and the site went on air the site went down again after few weeks , then i went to check what happened and try to reload the RBS with the latest CV but i couildnt connect to the RBS anymore :S thas really crazy i tried the default IP and IP+1 and IP-1 nothing work please if anyone knows how to connect to this RBS please tell me ,

Hi!If you have console cable you can connect on port LMT A and check IP address of the node.Then you should put nodeb's ip address as default gateway in your computer.

we did that but it doesnt work :( we make Ip+1 for the laptop and the Default gateway the RBS IP and it didnt work, we tried to give the laptop IP-1 and default gateway the RBS IP and it didnt work tooo :( thats really crazy

For serial:Making pins your own Serial Cable
RJ 45 DB9 h.
1 ___________ 5
2 ___________ 3
3 ___________ 2

For ethernet: Ethernet crossover cable

Thin client with
– Windows (2000, XP or Vista)
– Java Runtime Environment -JRE 1.5
– Hyper Terminal or similar function for serial connection
– Element Manager (EMAS) Software

i use the normal cable that i use usually in comessioning the RBS6601 and i comissioned a site today very easily but dont know whats wrong with this site ?

use console cable in lmtA port login with hyperterminal sw. reload with last known working cv using cv set.
then try again
