Dears,

Do you have VAMOS case study?

mobile4lte (http://www.finetopix.com/member.php?69406-mobile4lte),

Its very simple....Earlier FR-TCH become 2 * HR Channels to accommodate 2 calls in same TCH.
With Vamos, each HR-TCH will accommodate 2 Calls. So each FR-TCH can accomdate 4 * VAMOS Calls.

Got it ?

Not all the phones can support this new features, called SAIC. Then you need to check the SAIC MS penetration in the network.

As VAMOS feature will imply 6dB loss in MS sensitivity, so RxLev should be better -85dBm to handle VAMOS, and VAMOS can only be used when RxQual is good.

Dears,
Have you succeeded to get improvement in TCH congestion after using TS for 4 users (by enable VAMOS) without noticeable degradation in CDR, MOS
Kindly share ..
