when to send different kinds of measure types to UE?

i found for a long time it only send the measure type (intraFrequencyMeasurement).
when to send the other measure types to UE?

Hi blackantt,

normally in the measurement control the system sends only intra-frequency measurement details (neighbor PSC), but that depends on the IRAT/IFHO parameters. When IRAT or IF measurement conditions are met, the UE sends measurement report event2d, to which the system replies with Compressed Mode command (phys. chan. reconf.), and then and in the following measurement control messages you can find instructions for what exactly and how should be measured by the UE i.e. GSM - which frequency, which BCCH/BSIC neighbors, what are the minimum RxLev values, etc. or for IF - which UARFCN, which PSC are neighbors, and RSCP/EcNo thresholds. Whichever of the two types will be send depends on the hoType parameter value.
