Hi

Here is a free propagation path loss prediction software which can support ray tracing, integlent ray tracing and 2.5d model etc.
The only limitation is the number of polygons.
But is a good tool to learn deterministic propagation models.

We offer the Student edition of Radiowave Propagation Simulator (RPS) free of charge for educational and personal use, and as an evaluation/trial version. RPS Student allows 750 environment polygons to be submitted to the ray tracing engine, and supports the tracing of two reflections, two penetrations and one diffraction for each ray. By upgrading to either Professional or Enterprise versions, the user has access to unlimited polygons, unrestricted tracing and parallel processing capabilities. Actix RPS version 5.4 (the latest one) supports Matlab 2007A or higher version. For anybody having older versions of Matlab (MATLAB R11, R12, R12.1, or R13) you have to download RPS version 5.3 from this website

But v5.3 doesnt have any technical support from Actix anymore.

This software is good but limited support for diffraction and reflection (so not a good option for research purpose). Although its a nice program to visualize the propagation.

Is it true? When I look the about help, the license is still student version. Are you sure it's unlimited polygons and unrestricted tracing solution? I'm doubt because the license information is still say student version. But thank you anyway.

radioplan demo doesn't work.
You can see the Dresda demo building , for simulation's.
Only few are visible .
Please someone update full version.

I've use your medicine but I still got the message like below (the number of polygons is still 750, the maximum number of reflections is still 2, and the maximum number of diffractions is still 1). I already change the maximum number of reflections to 9 but after the simulation is finished I got that message. What is the problem my friend? What should I do? I need this software. Thank you.

Finally I got the statistic like below. There is no limitation and restriction anymore. Right now I can simulate with unlimited polygons and unrestricted tracing. Thank you very much my friend. You are great.
