Dear all
I have one concern about Nemo,
I have just finished DT with Nemo Outdor and I dont know what is problem?
The Ec/No of MS in voice mode is better than Ec/No in Idle mode. ( The same MS)

I give you logfile and consider for me and give me advise

Thank so much

What is the channel for you to get Ec/No in 3G?

I mean what is the Ec/No parameter that the author get in Actix/Nemo.

If he uses Actix, I guess he use Uu_ActiveSet_EcNo_0 for Ec/No, and the answer is quite easy. In voice mode, due to SHO, Uu_ActiveSet_EcNo_0 is the best Ec/No of cells in Active Set. In Idle Mode, it is just simple the Ec/No of active cell itself. So, Uu_ActiveSet_EcNo_0 in Voice mode should be better than it in Idle mode.

All
It's not clearly,
we have the signal power=P

the chip rate=W

the user bit rate=R

the noise=PN

the interference= I (interference between users)

Ec=P/W
Io=I/W
N0=(I+PN)/W
---> Ec/No = P/ ( I + PN)

For you to compare Ec/No in 2 scenario, everything should be equal so its apple to apple. I assume this is in different time since you use same MS for idle and voice.

1. Same time?
2. Same cell load?
3. Same direction of drive test?
4. Same best server?
