Deploying a third carrier (F3)

Hi,

Can anyone please explain;

What are the steps of deploying a third carrier (F3) in Huawei. What considerations should we take into account, what are the steps and SOPs to be followed.

Is 3rd carrier deployment is for activating 42 mbps in cell or Is it general capacity addition? There are guidelines for enabling 42mbps in cell.

I dont think much difference compared to 2nd carrier activation

but hardware ( BBU, RRU) and software license need to support.

Better to follow a strategy to avoid all cell camping to the new carrier.

Hi smfzaidi,

There will not be parameter change if you add third carrier for general capacity addition. Juts need to define Services that new carrier will be supporting on priority and add neighbors. If third carrier is added to enable DC in cell then there are a lot of parameter changes. BR, jack.
