Hi Guys,
Want to ask you something to what can i do on my site having max users in hsupa.
Can you give some tips how to troubleshoot this?
HSUPA 60 user per bts is already enabled on this site.

hope you help me.

regards,

Then you need to enable 72 HSPA users per cell.
Be aware that you will need (at least) a FMSE to support it.

But if you are speaking of a BTS with 2 frequency (i.e. 6 cells) you will likely experience a shortage of all other ressources (power, codes, etc).

HSPA72 users doesn't need FSME. It needs a Rel-2 baseband hardware. So it can work on FSMC/D as well. Please check the following parameters:-

MaxNumberEDCHLCG
MaxNumberEDCHCell
HSPA72UsersPerCell

Right. But with the amount of CE reserved for HSUPA, you better go with a FSME or start to stack some FSMDs...
If he's busting 60 HSUPA users, we could expect at least 14*60 CE reserved just for HSUPA...

Thank you very much for your answers. activating hspa72users solved the problem. Elkador thanks. Virgo_2k What value do i need to set for MaxNumberEDCHLCG
MaxNumberEDCHCell?

What RU is in question? Check if you have enabled option to use CEs for HSUPA from the rest of the pool when they are not used. You can enable 72 users for HSUPA but you will have poor performance for them. It seems like they are not requesting any speacial data rates. If they are, then upgrade to FSME. you can always have up to 2 FSME boards. In RU30 FSME is 918CEs.

Just be aware that you can only have 80 HSUPA Users per Local Cell Group (LCG). Its worth bearing in mind as you are likely to start seeing these again in future and it might not be so obvious....If you want 160 HSUPA Users, you need to have 2 LCG defined(80 per carrier with 1 LCG per carrier). This will only work if you have Release 2 only hardware.

In above reply Jan74 gave a very good description. Just to add here in case you have 2 carrier site you can define 2 HSUPA schedulars on the same LCG using HW freq mapping feature in order to implement that you must have more than one FSMD/E on site. It will than raise the limit to 160 but there is one disadvantage in this case that Dual Cell will not work anymore and you have to take care doing Tcell planning as well

Hi we have enabled HSUPA 60 users then also max users per cell not exceeding 20,other 2 cells also less than 20 in one LCG.
Any one explain how to increase in this case.We are usinf fsmd With 396 ce.

We have confirmation from PL that is fault is the scheduler, PL they are working to solve it.

No surprises there.... You will get used to that with NSN...
