Defined by parameter and restricted by license. Huawei defines max. HSDPA user numbers by parameter MaxHsdpaUserNum, Value range is 0~128. User no. are calculated by max. user numbers on HSDPA channel in a monitoring period.

Add Repo if find helpful.

you should also study the counter and prepare some cells to expand capacity in advance... if needed.

NSN can take 72 HSPA users per scheduler.

so scheduler is responsible...is it practically possible to have all the users. Because if the scheduler takes into account all the possible inputs for scheduling and allots TTIs to UEs..then what will happen to the throughput per user? if i have only one carrier.

It is practical. But of course the more users you have, the slower the individual Throughput. You can increase the number of users per TTI to 4 per Cell with NSN and that helps. But its a contended service so customers will expect slower speed at busy hours...You should look at going to a 2nd carrier asap too.

you can get it from M2000 VS.HSDPA.UE.MEAN.CELL

Actually these scenarios are simulated taking the worst cases...thats how it is..

depend on the hsdpa scheduler type loaded/configuredin the NB.
NSN can support 72 users in ru20. but if BTS is Flexi rel2, then it goes to 80.
