This depend on which city you are going to live in Mexico. Now living in some Mexico States are consider as dangerous as living in Siria, Libia or Irak. This is because there is a constant war among the different drungs Cartels, the Army and the Police. Also, in some places the Police is corrupted by the drug. So, doing drive test in some places that you really do not know can be dangerous.

If someone is going to sign a contract for working in Mexico, take in cosideration the Cities,States and places you are going to visite. Mexico has wonderful places and a rich hispanic culture, but also places that you don't wanna be there.

Also consider the rate, Tangent are offering notoriously poor rates recently. They are entirely unrealistic and push overall rates down for all of us.

yes, always be mindful of the agent. But I know RNPI engineers in Mexico, right now (jun 2012) making a very good rate, and yes, the city is important, due to the violence.
