http://www.planete-smiley.com/smiley/3d/c033.gifCeragon Link Range Calculator is designed to calculate ceragon's fibeair family link ranges, at the available frequencies, antenna sizes and required availability. using this program, it's also possible to print link report, determine the acheived availability for specific link range, in different system configurations.

It will help if you can alsopost a description of the tool, waht freq ranges it covers, waht modulation types?? etc

this tool like pathloss but simple with ceragon equipment, can calculate linkbudget etc. Feature : rainzone map, PLmap, terrain, geographic. Freq start from 38GHz-7GHz, type modulation 16 & 128QAM.
Extension of file :*.crn (LinkCalc Configuration files):)

Hi somebody,

is it possible to calculate links with the FibeAir IP-10 family?:confused:

Thanks for answers

In a way... both yes and no.

If it's the same as IP-MAX, I guess IP-10 is probably FA1500 ODU/XCVR combined with a different type of IDU. The problem is it uses adaptive modulation technique, therefore it can switch between various modulation schemes based on propagation factors. Therfore, you can't determine fade margin, since it has various threshold levels.
Still, for some simple calculus (antenna size prediction) you could use this tool, just select similar equipment and link capacity. If you want to be more precise, you need a deeper analysis, which will require "pen and paper", or more advanced tool.
