I have observed that some operators are using the following formula:

(<PREEMPTTBF>+<MOVECELLTBF>)/(<DLTBFEST>-<FAILDLTBFEST>)*100

I found this formula being used for disconnections in Eric

( ( Pdpconlostg + Adctpdpconsg38G+ Adctpdpconsg39G ) / ( Nactpdpcong + Sucactpdpcong ) ) * 100

So what kind of disconnections this represents?

Please reply and put explanations for each counter..

I am new to Eric system and does not have counter details document..if anyone do have any document with details of these counters please share..

Any one can share the formula used to calculate this rate?

In our Network we follow this :

[A9206:Number of Uplink EGPRS TBF Abnormal Releases due to N3101 Overflow (MS No Response) + A9207:Number of Uplink EGPRS TBF Abnormal Releases due to N3103 Overflow (MS No Response)]*100/ (A9202:Number of Successful Uplink EGPRS TBF Establishments)

Some BSC suffer from a huge TBF Drop even in UL & DL :(

What should'I to verify?

What are the possible route cause for high TBF drop. Any one can suggest for possible parameter change required for TBF drop improvement in Huawei system

The possible cause of TBF drops are bad Radio conditions, Hardware, PCU, Abis Interface failures. Gb interface should be free from congestion. To improve the TBF drop rate, find the cause of the drops in your case. Majority of TBF drops are due to CS Preemption of PS Services. regards, jack.
