Dear Experts,

I have following Query regarding F2 Carrier lock.

Let suppose there is Expansion in one Site from S111(F1 Only) to S222(F1& F2) and then we want to test the performance of F2 by doing Drive test.

what is the way forward to get this testing?
is there any MML Command through which it can be done?

Please find below required info:
We have following strategy in our network:
>UE Access always from F1 and then move to F2 based on the service requested.
>Where F2 is totally barred.
>System:-Huawei

Please help in this Regard,

Can you please clarify this? Is F2 live but barred? If so, and assuming you have no way to de-barr the carrier, then you are stuck having to use a scanner. Its ok but tends to be very optimistic.

You can intiate an HSDPA session first on F1 and then the UE will be directed to F2 if only DRD is enabled between F1 & F2.

there must a parameter in Huawei which allows to add offset to F1, so the UEs reselect F2 all the time...you are testing only after hours, right ?
