Dear Team
I would like help on the KPIS to use when analysising sites with high call drop? What is the cause of drops due to utran generated reasons.

Hello,

in first check the System file for your site, this step permit you to check if you have a HW problem, after check RB blocking and RRC request and causes maybe it is a capacity problem check the CPU of cards
....

thanks for that advice. how do you check the system files? which counters can be used for the analysis.

Utran-generated reasons can be the issues: 1- Core Network 2- ATM/Iub interface 3- Hardware (TX/ RAX boards)

Check if u have any hardware malfunctions issues and afterward, advance to the number of boards (RAX) first and next Transmission boards. Remember the n# RAX boards affect your CE count and if you don't have enough CE, your call can be released although RF conditions (Coverage & interference) are good, CQI is correct for HSPA data calls.
