Atoll is the simplest and most effective tool for WiMAX, do you have needed maps for the area you want to deploy your WiMAX network if you don't have these data the tool is useless.

Indeed, Atoll is the best tool in the market right now, although Mentum Planet has also a very interesting solution for WiMAX. If you are used to work with MapInfo, Mentum should be your tool. Atoll has a really user-friendly interface, and it is very easy to use, being at the same time very powerful.

Dear Karim,

I already contacted a map provider company (RMSI Co.) to buy DEM, clutters and so on.
the total price for 5m resolution of 300 square km area is about 1500$.

Do you have any suggestion regarding the source that I want to but the maps?

Thanks,

Dear lejun,

I searched the forum and find several links for getting Atoll. I have a question:
Do these *****e include ACP (Automatic Cell Panning) and AFP modules?

Thanks,

karim

You don't need 5m resolution for 16e!!!
What is the area you are looking for?
There is a lot of free stuff both on the Forum and on the net, why pay so much.

dear karim,

the area is Esfahan city of Iran.
Would you please explain more about what resolution I need? and where I can find the maps.
Actually I got a quotation for 2D data and I think it is important to have 3D geo-data of city but it is too expensive!

Hi friend,

We still use 50m resolution map and it is ok with general project (except you want to plan microcell/minicell).

You can check XIRIO ONLINE TOOL ( Bienvenido a Xirio-Online (http://www.xirio-online.com) ) . It is a multipurpouse (many wireless technologies) online plannification tool. You can use it for free for low resolution calculations. You only pay whenever you want to get a professional calculation with better resolutions. There are several pay models: pay per use, flat rates, etc. And it includes worldwide cartography due to agreements with several providers.
Just have a look!
