Nokia Siemens Networks says that it has won a contract from Malaysia's Celcom to boost its network as part of its ongoing network expansion and upgrade in Klang Valley.

Under the contract, Nokia Siemens Networks will provide HSPA+ upgrade supporting mobile data at a theoretical peak rate of up to 42Mbps.

Under the contract, Nokia Siemens Networks will deliver LTE-ready radio access equipment Flexi Multiradio Base Stations to deliver HSPA+ services and upgrade its network management system, NetAct for Celcom's current and future needs.

No financial or timeline details were provided.
