may be some input from RF Planning and dimensioning
for Dimensioning have 3 Part
1. Coverage Planning
- Get link budget ( I think already many tool for calculate this )
- Get Cell Radius , Area Coverage in one Site and Distance site by site
- Calculation how many BTS you need to cover target area base on Coverage Planning .
- Need RNP Tool like Atoll or another to simulate :)
2. Capacity Planning
- Get Average throughput and Voice every User ( base on requirement )
- Get Average throughput and Voice every BTS ( base on your BTS Vendor )
- you can calculate how many BTS you need to cover Capacity requirement
i think already many ebook for calculate Capacity Planning in this forum :)
3. Frequency planning ( Scrambling Planning )
- another important planning , because will be impact with Coverage and Capacity Planning .

all thing all document and tool already complete in this forum :) only need to search and Combine :
