April 15, 2011. Nemo Outdoor 5.80 is released with support for SIP-based VoIP calls. With the optional VoIP module combined to Nemo Outdoor a user is able to perform IP telephony measurements on the IP networks based on the established VoIP sessions. The gathered measurement information includes call statistics and IP related parameters such as the number of lost or discarded packets, transfer delay, and jitter. Support for voice quality measurements over the IP network will follow soon.
The latest release of Nemo Outdoor also includes support for Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). Built on the Secure Shell (SSH) Protocol, the purpose of the protocol is to provide a secure, efficient file transfer occurring over an SSH encrypted pipe or tunnel. SFTP file transfer configuration is similar to FTP in Nemo Outdoor application. SFTP file transfers can be done with manual and automated mode using script files. Both receive and send directions are supported. For send direction it’s also possible to generate local file by defining the file size. Parallel receive and send transfers are supported by using several start and stop SFTP transfer commands with script file.
Other new features include support for LTE and CDMA/EVDO Scanning with Nemo FSR1 scanner.
