View Full Version : frequancy reuse
Dear all best friend
Now i had problem with planning frequancy on GSM, for rang frequancy we had form 94-124 so which one pattern reuse is good for planning and some site had configuration S/4/4/4 also
Please help me to solve th is problem

it is better to use ad hoc frequency plan with planning tool .

Hi
you can take for gonfiguration S444
THE BCCH beween 94 TO 114 "PAIR
&
TCH BETWEEN 115 TO 124 "PAIR AND INPAIR
FOR EXEMPLE
CELL A / BCCH =94 AND TCH1 =115 AND TCH2= 116 & TCH3 =117
CELL B / BCCH =96 AND TCH1 =118 AND TCH2= 119 & TCH3 =120
CELL C/ BCCH =98 AND TCH1 =121 AND TCH2= 122 & TCH3 =123

You shouldn't use consecuticve frequencies in one cell. if you have to use a feww freqs., distribute consecutive freqs to different cells.
for example
Cell 1: 115 117 119
Cell 2: 121 123 116
Cell 3: 118 120 124

Dear
meaning is that you will split the BCCH band and TCH band and the frequency planning will be irregular( automatic frequency) based on interference matrix from MRR result .

about Reuse patern
for the cells as same frequency ,you can gaguaranted a distance inter-sites of 1,5R.

Dude
For sectors in the same RBS do not use adj frecs in the hopp on any of the sectors. If you use AFP such as Optimi or schema you need to create a rule to avoid it. IF is manual is better to create layer for BCCH and another for Hopping.
