A large earthquake hit northeastern Japan on March 11, 2011. The Japan earthquake measured 8.9 on the Richter scale and set off a tsunami. Witnesses stated that the Japan earthquake lasted several minutes.

A tsunami warning has also been issued for Russia, Marcus Island and the Northern Marianas. A tsunami watch has been issued for Guam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia and US state of Hawaii.

If a tsunami has been generated people in coastal areas should:

Stay off beaches
Stay out of the water (sea, rivers and estuaries, including boating activities)
Do not go sightseeing
Share this information with family, neighbours and friends
Listen to the radio and/or TV for updates
Follow instructions of your local Civil Defence authorities.

Wish safe to all people, and ask "Allah" to remove this disaster.

Sometimes it is so difficult to predict and understand these things happening
If the quake was predicted how about the Tsunami.?
So sad to see innocent people die untimely
