Hello,
Basically what we are trying to achieve is to setup a Cisco MGX8880 as an MSC and also as a G-MSC.
We would be looking for all the normal GSM functionalities and connectivity to an SMSC. Basic access for voice/sms for handsets either via IP or via RF through roaming with an MNO.
Is this something within your reach ?

Must See Cisco MGX8880 as an MSC and also as a G-MSC
Hi, I have attached Cisco bulletin on this regard. A lot of the GSM/SS7 stuff can be translated via ITP Map gateways.

Yes, this is understood. We are looking for a way to add the components necessary.
That's why I sent off the note to the list hoping someone might have done this before.
I'll wait for your reply.
